The idea of a healthspan comes from people who want to live not just longer, but better quality of lives. That "better" part is what matters to us. There’s little value in adding years to a life if the experience of living them isn’t also improved.
Healthspan is about quality of life, for as much of life as possible.
You’ll notice we don’t focus on a single call to action. We think about people, individually and collectively and the environments they live in, including our planet. That’s why our games directly support projects across healthcare and biodiversity. To us, they’re deeply connected.
We know games can do far more than entertain. When they’re designed with intention, they can generate the kind of insights that help people live healthier lives for longer.
That mission shapes everything we do, which includes how we work, who we collaborate with and how we grow the business. It hasn’t been the fastest or easiest path, but it’s one deliberately built for sustained long-term impact.
Good science takes time.
Good science takes time. Evidence matters, because without it, claims fall apart. There’s often a tricky middle part where the answers aren’t there yet. Our approach is to collect rich data, get the proof and only then scale those insights globally.
Scientific research shouldn’t sit behind lab or clinic doors, or exist only in journals. If we want research that reflects the real world, people need to be able to take part in it.
Games give us a means to do that in a nice package. We think of it as a win-win-win. A win for people, a win for scientists and a win for humanity as a whole.
We build our datasets transparently, alongside our players, connecting them directly to the research they’re advancing. They aren’t passive users. They’re participants helping push our collective understanding forward.
Too much discovery happens at a distance from the people it’s meant to serve. Our goal is to close that gap, using the same system to collect data, reflect it back to individuals and power the next generation of research.
Games have the power to change the world.
